'After Disclosure' book on UFOs, ET contact due out October 2010

Researchers and readers of all kinds are looking forward to the October 2010 publication of the new book "A.D. After Disclosure: The People's Guide to Life After Contact" by Richard Dolan and Bryce Zabel.

The two authors have robust backgrounds in writing and research about UFOs and extraterrestrial visitation to Earth.

Dolan's multi-volume "UFOs and the National Security State" explores the complex and multi-faceted aspects of this fascinating subject. He is a frequent speaker on the UFO topic and has appeared on many TV programs that attempt to examine it.

Zabel is a former CNN journalist and now Hollywood writer and producer. He won the 2008 Writers Guild of America award for the Hallmark miniseries "Pandemic" and has written feature film scripts for Warner Brothers, Universal, Fox, Disney and New Line.

He co-created the NBC drama series, "Dark Skies" (scheduled for DVD release in 2011). His writing and producing of the original made-for-TV film "Official Denial" dovetailed with his work on the development team of the Steven Spielberg series "Taken."

Hubble Spots Ghostly Space Spiral

When I first saw this ghostly Hubble Space Telescope image, I assumed that faint blurry spiral was a lens flare or some other photographic anomaly. But on closer inspection, the details started to present themselves.

As imaged by the space telescope's sensitive Advanced Camera for Surveys, this striking pattern is formed by material being ejected from a dying star. But this isn't a lone star; there's a second star -- a binary partner -- orbiting with it and modulating the expanding gas.

This binary system is called LL Pegasi and the surrounding "pre-planetary nebula" is known as IRAS 23166+1655.

Triangle UFO Crash in Sanger, CA

A triangle-shaped craft reportedly crash landed on a mountainside in Sanger, CA (just outside of Fresno) on the night of August 21st. A family who observed the “hard landing” reported the incident to California Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) state section director Jeffrey Gonzalez.

According to Gonzalez, while taking the phone report, he heard a woman in the background say, “It’s trying to take off, it’s trying to lift!” The witnesses claim that the downed craft ascended 30 to 40 feet trying to take off again, but was unsuccessful.

The crash site is private and inaccessible from public roads, which prevented MUFON investigators from reaching the area, but unmarked vehicles allegedly managed to swarm the scene shortly after the incident.

From a public vantage point, Gonzalez reported seeing something resembling an arc welding light coming from the crash site during the evening, which led him to believe that the individuals who arrived in the unmarked vehicles were either attempting to repair the craft, or dismantle it.
